The designer was Louis P. Mooers. Geneva was originally planned as the brand name , but Ewing was ultimately chosen. It was named after Levi Edward Ewing, an investor in the company. Vehicle production began in 1908. Around 30 vehicles were built in the first year.

Company history

In February 1909, Ewing took over the company and renamed it the Ewing Automobile Company . The seat was in Geneva , Ohio . One problem was finding suitable workers. At this point there were six unsold taxis in the factory.
