Other car brands called Pontiac came from the Pontiac Spring & Wagon Works and Pontiac , which belonged to General Motors .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder engine from the Massnick-Phipps Manufacturing Company . It was specified with 25 hp and powered the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox.

The chassis had a wheelbase of 269 cm . The customers had to have the bodies made by a body manufacturer of their choice.

Two sources indicate that chassis were probably made for the Duryea Tricycle Company . However, the Detroit Chassis Company is also named for this.
