Hazard Motor Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1910 as the successor to Hazard Engineering Company . The seat was in Rochester , New York . Owners were John F. Alden, George R. Coates, EC Hazard, George E. Hazard, John F. Hazard and Willett E. Hazard. Mainly they made motors that were called Ergon . Automobile production began in either 1913 or 1914 and ran until 1915. The brand name was Hazard .

After 1915 the track of the company is lost.

There was a choice of two models with a self-made four-cylinder engine . One engine developed 24 HP , the other 30 HP.
