Szekely Cyclecar Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Charles J. Berthal and Otto E. Szekely were at a university in Berlin . They founded the company in Richmond , Virginia in 1914 . They made automobiles that were marketed as Cub . Production ended in the same year.

The only model was named a Cyclecar , although it is unclear whether it met the criteria for Cyclecars. An air-cooled V2 engine from De Luxe powered the rear axle via belts. A tubular frame served as the chassis . The original price was 350 US dollars . By comparison, the Ford Model T cost $ 500 as a two-seater runabout .
