Copper Cyclecar Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Albert M. Kupfer and Bookie M. Kupfer operated the AM Copper Corporation in Los Angeles , California . They sold motorcycles from 1913 . One of their salespeople was Ray Johnson. He developed a small car. The company was then founded in Los Angeles. The market launch took place in April 1914. The brand name was copper . Plans totaled 500 vehicles in the first year. Production ended in 1914.

The only model is called the Cyclecar , although it is unclear whether it meets the criteria. It had a four-cylinder engine . The chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm and a track width of 91 cm . Despite the small width, two seats were arranged side by side. The original price was 450 US dollars .
