The company was based in Detroit , Michigan . In 1914 it produced some automobiles. The brand name was Excel .

But there are also references to 91.5 cubic inches and 1499 cm³ displacement. The engine was water-cooled . It drove the rear axle via a friction gear and belt. The chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm . The structure was a two-seater roadster . The curb weight was given as about 454 kg. The original price was 450 US dollars .
