Linthwaite-Hussey Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . Other sources use the names Lithwaite-Hussy Company and Linthwaite-Hussy Company .

Company history

Owen C. Linthwaite was a designer with the California Automobile Company and the New Columbus Buggy Company . In 1916 he founded the company with a Mr. Hussey, who was presumably the financier. The seat was in Los Angeles , California . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Milac . Production ended in the same year. A total of eight vehicles were built.

Sports and racing cars were on offer . The Model C had a four-cylinder engine with four-valve technology , a displacement of 199 cubic inches , corresponding to a displacement of 3261 cm³, and an output of 90 hp . The Model D had a more powerful engine. He made 110 hp from 299 cubic inches or 4900 cm³ displacement.

Some vehicles were successfully used in car races until 1918.
