Warren Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The dentist HF Barnhart had already made a car in 1897. In 1905 he founded the company in Warren , Pennsylvania . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Warren . Production ended in 1905.

There was no association with the Warren Motor Car Company , which a few years later used the same brand name for its passenger cars.

Only one model was on offer. It had a four-cylinder engine . It usually made 44 hp and some test cars also made 49 hp. The chassis had a wheelbase of 279 cm . The structure was a tonneau with side access. The original price was 3500 US dollars .

Special feature was the possibility to park one, two or three cylinders to fuel saving.
