Hitchcock Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Warren , Ohio in the summer of 1907 . TM Burton, Herbert E. Craig, WH Creahen, JA Hitchcock and SE Wannamaker were involved. They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Hitchcock . Production ended in 1908. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

Only one model was on offer. It had a two-cylinder two - stroke engine . It was from Speedwell and was air-cooled . The engine output of 20 hp was transmitted to the rear axle via a friction gear .
