Company history

Daniel M. Calvert, Charles H. Kreighbaum, Edgar R. Miller, Walter B. Pershing, and Burleigh E. Tritt founded the company in January 1905. Another source confirms January 1905. The company was based in South Bend , Indiana . In the same year they made some automobiles . The brand name was Tritt , possibly with the addition of Electric .

It is not known when the company was dissolved. There was a company of the same name from Union City , Indiana in 1914 . However, it is unclear whether these are the same company.
