Fostoria Light Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Charles Ash, Ira Cadwallader, AO George and JH Jones founded the company in the summer of 1915. The seat was in Fostoria , Ohio . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Fostoria . In December 1915, the Storm Buggy Company was taken over and plans were made to manufacture at their facility. By September 1916, 293 vehicles had been produced. Problems with the quality of the supplied motors from Sterling created a bad reputation. The owners then decided to dissolve the company.

They started a fresh start as Seneca Motor Car Company and chose the LeRoi Company as their new engine supplier.

There was no association with the Fostoria Motor Car Company , which used the same brand name a few years earlier.

A range of models was on offer. A four-cylinder engine with OHV valve control and 17 hp powered the vehicles. One source mentions a displacement of 2100 cm³ . Another gives 82.55 mm bore , 114.3 mm stroke and 2447 cm³ displacement. The chassis had a wheelbase of 274 cm . The Model B was a Roadster , Model C , a touring car , model F a coupe and Model F a Speedster .
