Automobile Cycle Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

William Andrew de Schaum previously worked in the automotive industry with the Schaum Automobile & Motor Manufacturing Company , the C. Rossler Manufacturing Company , the De Schaum Motor Syndicate Company, and the Suburban Motor Car Company . He founded the company in December 1913. The headquarters were in Detroit , Michigan . Automobile production began in June 1914. The brand name was Tiger . Production ended in February 1915 after de Schaum died.

Announced was a single-seat Cyclecar . The series models were larger and did not meet the criteria for cycle cars. The four-cylinder engine came from Farmer and was water-cooled . It had 69.85 mm bore , 101.6 mm stroke , 1557 cm³ displacement and was thus well above the displacement limit of 1100 cm³ for cycle cars. The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft . The chassis had a 229 cm wheelbase and 122 cm track .

Model W was a two-seater roadster . A four-seater was Model A called. There were with the Model D a light vans .
