WCP Taxicab Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in New York City in early 1909 . It belonged to Wyckoff, Church & Partridge , which imported vehicles from Decauville . The people named are CF Wyckoff and ES Partridge, but no Mr. Church. In the same year the production of automobiles began in cooperation with the Bristol Engineering Company . The brand name was WCP . Finished vehicles have been delivered from June 1909. Production ended in 1912 when the parent company went bankrupt .
