Kauffman Motor Car Company , previously Advance Motor Vehicle Company , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Advance Motor Vehicle Company was founded in 1909 as a merger of the vehicle manufacturer Hatfield Motor Vehicle Company and the supplier Kauffmann Buggy Company . The seat remained in Miamisburg , Ohio . The production of automobiles continued. The brand name was now Kauffman . After a year or two, the company name changed to Kauffman Motor Car Company . Production ended in 1912.

Only the Model C was on offer . It had a revised air-cooled four-cylinder engine that made 20 hp . In contrast to the Hatfield high wheeler , it was a low-profile vehicle. The chassis had a wheelbase of 264 cm . The body shape was a roadster with four seats.
