Based in Chicago , Illinois , the company manufactured at least one motor vehicle in 1908 . The brand name was Advance .

The only surviving vehicle was for an orange farmer. The vehicle was powered by an air-cooled two-cylinder two - stroke engine with an output of 45 hp . The maximum speed was given as 96 km / h.
