Company history

The company was founded in Batavia , New York , in 1921 . The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Adria . President was Louis F. Vremsak. In October 1921 there was a lawsuit over a possible patent infringement with the Parenti Motors Corporation , which was led by Joseph Parenti, a former partner of Vremsak. Production was temporarily suspended. A little later there were financial problems that again led to a production stoppage. Production continued in March 1922, but ended that same year.

One source states that between 20 and 40 vehicles were built. A second source names exactly 15 completed vehicles plus a further 17 that were under construction for the phase between the two interruptions.

vehicles

Only the A-1 model was on offer . It had a four-cylinder engine of Supreme with 2,932 cc displacement and 39 hp power. The wheelbase was 305 cm. According to a source, there was a choice of touring cars and sedanettes , both with five seats. A second source confirms the touring car but states that the sedan and roadster were only planned.
