The company was founded in 1927 in Baltimore , Maryland . The designer was Norton L. Dods, who previously worked for Cavalier Motor Associates . The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Calvert . Production ended in the same year. Overall, only a few vehicles were built, one of which is said to still exist.

The only model was the Duplex Three . It had a six-cylinder engine from the Continental Motors Company with an L-head . 63.5 mm bore and 127 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 2413 cc . The chassis had a wheelbase of 267 cm . Narrated are roadster with rumble seat and touring cars .
