The Hanover Motor Car Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Hanover, Pennsylvania and Buffalo, New York . The company was founded in Hanover in 1921. 158 vehicles were also built at this location in 1921 and 1922 and further individual items up to 1927. From 1922 onwards, Buffalo Hanover also built. Some sources speak of a total production of 800 copies.

The Hanover was available as a two-seat roadster or two-seat delivery van. It had a pressed steel frame and was powered by a V2 engine with 12/15 hp (11 kW). The roadster cost US $ 345, the delivery van US $ 370. The manufacturer guaranteed that the gasoline consumption was 4.7 ltr. / 100 km and a set of tires should last at least 32,000 km (20,000 mls.). A special feature was that the cars were available with left or right hand drive. A significant part of the production was delivered to Japan .

Production was stopped in 1927.
