Lone Star Motor Truck and Tractor Association was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in 1919 in San Antonio , Texas . In the same year, automobile production began at the Piedmont Motor Car Company in Lynchburg , Virginia . The brand name was Lone Star . Later it had its own plant in San Antonio. Moreover emerged trucks and tractors . The vehicles were also exported to Mexico . Production ended in 1922.

From 1919 to 1921 there were two passenger cars to choose from. The Beauty Four had a four-cylinder engine from Lycoming with 35 hp power. The chassis had a 295 cm wheelbase . The structure was an open touring car with five seats. The Beauty Six , on the other hand, had a six-cylinder engine from the Continental Motors Company with an output of 57 hp. The wheelbase was slightly longer at 310 cm. This model was also bodied as a five-seater touring car.
The six-cylinder model was discontinued in 1922. The four-cylinder model was now called the Model 4-35 . The engine data, wheelbase and structure did not change.

A pick-up was available with both the Lycoming four-cylinder engine and a six-cylinder engine from Herschell-Spillman .
