Lakewood Engineering Company was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1919. The headquarters were in New York City and the factory in Cleveland , Ohio . Charles F. Lang was President, ES Hough Vice President and AW Stone Secretary. The company manufactured motor vehicles for in-house use and concrete mixers . In 1920 a prototype of a passenger car was also made . The brand name was Lakewood . Despite the marketing intention, the marketing did not succeed.

After 1932 the track of the company is lost.

Car

The only model was an electric car . The chassis had a wheelbase of 264 cm . The body was closed. The coupé offered space for two people.
