Company history
Charles Steinmetz gained experience in the automotive industry at Dey Electric Corporation . In 1922 he founded the company in Baltimore , Maryland . From December 1922 he manufactured passenger cars. The brand name was Steinmetz . In August 1923 Steinmetz announced commercial vehicles . In 1923 car production ended after four vehicles were manufactured. The bankruptcy began in 1924 . Trucks were produced in small numbers until they were dissolved in 1926.
