Alena Steam Products Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was based in Indianapolis , Indiana . Originally it manufactured commercial vehicles and tractors . In 1922 the production of passenger cars began , but ended again in the same year. The brand name was Alena . A total of two cars were built. In 1923, commercial vehicle production was also given up and the company dissolved.
Car
The vehicles had a two-cylinder engine . One source says it was a steam engine . Another source names 1885 cm³ displacement , which speaks for a gasoline engine . The chassis had a wheelbase of 320 cm . An open touring car body was mounted on it.
