Lorraine Car Company was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .
Company history
DH Cummings founded the company in 1917. The seat was in Richmond , Indiana . He made hearses . From 1920 passenger cars were also produced . The brand name was Lorraine . In 1921 it was taken over by the Pilot Motor Car Company .
The brand name was used until 1923. During this time, cars were only made after orders.
There were no affiliations with Lorraine Automobile Manufacturing Company and Lorraine Motors Corporation , which used the same brand name.

The only model was the Six . It had a six-cylinder engine from the Continental Motors Company with 55 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 310 cm . The vehicles were bodied as a sedan with seven seats.
