A. Richard Carter founded the company in Gulfport , Mississippi in 1920 . According to a press release, production should begin on December 1, 1920. The brand name was Carter . Production ended in 1921. A total of between 3 and 25 vehicles were built.
There were no affiliations with the Michigan Automobile Company and the Washington Motor Car Company , which used the same brand name.
