Curtis Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in Little Rock , Arkansas , in 1920 . The idea came from the former mayor Charles E. Taylor. General Motors employed FH Berger as chief engineer . From 1920 to 1921 automobiles with the brand name Curtis were produced . In April 1921 the bankruptcy followed . According to one source, a total of 46 or 53 vehicles were built. Another source names either 30 or 45 to 60 vehicles.

Many parts were bought in. The four-cylinder engine came from Herschell-Spillman and the six-cylinder engine from the Continental Motors Company . One illustration shows a touring car .
