Babcock Electric Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Frank A. Babcock ran the Buffalo Electric Carriage Company from 1901 to 1906 . In 1906 he founded a new company in Buffalo , New York . To do this, he took over the previous Buffalo company. He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Babcock . Production ended in 1912.
In 1912 the Clark Motor Company and the Buffalo Automobile Station Company merged to form the Buffalo Electric Vehicle Company .
There was no connection with the HH Babcock Company , which used the same brand name between 1909 and 1913.

The company made electric cars. The performance of the electric motors has not been handed down. Every year there were several different models in the range, which differed in terms of wheelbase and body shape.
The Model 1 from 1906 and 1907 was a Stanhope with a 160 cm wheelbase. There was also a Special Stanhope with a 168 cm wheelbase in 1907 .
The Model 3 was a runabout with 183 cm wheelbase, there was only 1906th
The same goes for the Model 4 .
The Model 5 1906 was a special with 183 cm wheelbase, 1907 runabout with 198 cm wheelbase, 1908, a runabout with 183 cm wheelbase and 1910, a roadster with 183 cm wheelbase.
The Model 6 had a continuous 198 cm wheelbase. In 1907 it was called the Runabout and from 1908 to 1912 it was called the Victoria .
The Model 7 was a Brougham with a 183 cm wheelbase and was offered in 1907 and 1908.
The Model 8 was only available in 1907. It was a coupé with a 165 cm wheelbase.
The Model 10 the years 1908 and 1909 corresponded to the Model 8 .
The Model 11 was a Special Stanhope with a 168 cm wheelbase in 1908 , but a Town Car with a 254 cm wheelbase in 1909 and 1910 .
The Model 12 was available from 1909 to 1912. The Roadster had a wheelbase of 239 cm.
The Model 14 was a coupe with 218 cm wheelbase from 1910 to 1912.
The Model 15 was a runabout from 1909 with a wheelbase of 183 cm.
The Model 17 of 1912 Large coupe called. The wheelbase of 218 cm, however, corresponded to the other coupé of the year.
The Model 18 came out in 1912. This was a 254 cm wheelbase Fore Door Roadster .
