Durable Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in St. Louis , Missouri . In 1908, it manufactured a few automobiles that were marketed as Clymer . A special feature was that the company offered a one-year guarantee . In retrospect it can be seen that the guarantee period was longer than the company's existence.

vehicles

The only model was a high wheeler . With the large solid rubber tires , it was well suited for the bad roads of the time. A two-cylinder engine with 12 hp propelled the vehicles. The maximum speed was given as 48 km / h. There were four different structures to choose from. One illustration shows a roadster .
