Huron River Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Ann Arbor , Michigan company manufactured automobiles from 1911 to 1912. The brand name was Ann Arbor . The Star Motor Car Company moved into the plant in late 1912 to manufacture commercial vehicles.

The vehicles were designed for farmers and traders. They offered space for two to eight people in up to three rows of seats. The rear seats could easily be removed for transporting goods. A two - cylinder front engine propelled the vehicles. There was an ordinary bonnet in the first year, and a strikingly short one in 1912. The maximum speed was given as 40 km / h. The wheelbase of the chassis was 254 cm.
