Chicago Forty was an American automobile brand.

Brand history

Louis W. Friedberg was involved in the Cornish-Friedberg Motor Car Company until 1909 . He continued their production of automobiles in Chicago , Illinois . The brand name was Chicago Forty . 1909 was the only year of production. One source suspects that Friedberg assembled existing parts into vehicles.

The only model had a four-cylinder engine . It made 35 hp . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The chassis had a wheelbase of 290 cm .
