Baker-Bell Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania in 1913 . The production of automobiles and commercial vehicles began, which were marketed as Baker-Bell . The company also acted as a dealer. Car production ended in 1913 and truck production in 1914 . In 1916 the company was dissolved.

The car model was called the Hummingbird . It had a four-cylinder engine with 16.5 kW (22.5 hp ). The wheelbase was 229 cm. The open body of the roadster offered space for two people.

A small commercial vehicle used the same chassis .
