Blakeslee Electric Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

CJ Blakeslee took over parts of the insolvent De Mars Electric Vehicle Company in February 1905 . He started his own company in Cleveland , Ohio, and continued manufacturing automobiles. The brand name was now Blakeslee . Production ended in 1906. A total of around 20 vehicles were built.

In the summer of 1906, the Williams Motor Carriage Company took over the company.

Light electric cars were on offer . The performance of the electric motors has not been handed down. The open body shape Victoria offered space for two people. The chassis had a wheelbase of 180 cm .
