Chicago Recording Scale Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1906 in Waukegan , Illinois to manufacture automobiles. The brand name was Apollo , possibly also Waukegan Apollo . Production ended in 1907.

Only one model was offered, which is described as conventional. A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with 35 HP power drove the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft . The open body in the shape of a Roi-des-Belges offered space for five people.
