St. Joe Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in the spring of 1908 as the successor company to the Shoemaker Automobile Company . The seat was in Elkhart , Indiana . Harry C. Shoemaker was involved. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was St. Joe . Production ended in 1908.

Businessmen from Hutchinson took over the company and founded the Sellers Motor Car Company in Hutchinson as the successor company.
