The company was based in Houston , Texas . Paul Roffall was a manager. Mainly it made carriages . A few automobiles were also made between 1910 and 1912 . The brand name was Model .

References to the company can be found in newspapers between September 16, 1900 and December 12, 1917.

There were no connections to the Model Gas Engine Works from Indiana or the Model Gas Engine Company from California . Both companies also marketed passenger cars as models .
