Archer & Company was an American importer and manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The New York City company imported Hotchkiss et Cie vehicles from France. Between 1905 and 1906, self-made vehicles were built, which were marketed as De Leon . It is not known when the company was dissolved.

Only one model was on offer. A four-cylinder engine with 35 hp drove the rear axle via two chains. The bodies were open touring cars . Many parts came from French suppliers, including the chassis possibly from Malicet & Blin .
