Fatih Çakır (born April 30, 1990 in Osmangazi , Bursa Province ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Çakır started working in the youth department of Mudanyaspor, an amateur club from Bursa Province, at the age of eleven. At the age of 17 he moved to Nilüfer Belediyespor within the city and spent the 2007/08 season here.

One season later he switched to Oyak Renault SK (since 2013 called Yeşil Bursa SK ) and got his first professional contract here at the age of 19. In the TFF 3rd Lig Çakır ran up to 2014 a total of 95 times for the club and scored 34 goals. In the 2013/14 season alone , he scored 18 goals and was third on the top scorer list. It was noteworthy that he scored more than half of the goals for the now renamed Yeşil Bursa SK, as the club only had 30 goals at the end of the season.

Through this success, high-class clubs became aware of Çakır. In July 2014, the second division Denizlispor took him under contract for three years.

In order to gain match practice, he was loaned out to Aydınspor 1923 for half a year in February 2015 . For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the fourth division club Düzcespor .
