Faustino Anderloni

Faustino Anderloni (* 1766 in Brescia ; † 1847 ) was an Italian engraver .

Anderloni lived in Pavia , in southwestern Lombardy and in northern Italy. He is particularly known for his copperplate engravings for scientific works, such as in Giovanni Antonio Scopolis Deliciae fiorae et faunae insubricae (1786–88).

When he lived in Milan , he orientated himself on the painters Guido Reni (The Assumption), Raffael , Antonio da Correggio and others. The guidance of his burin is characterized by strength and clarity.

His brother Pietro Anderloni was also a well-known engraver.
