Fausto Tozzi

Fausto Tozzi (born October 29, 1921 in Rome , † December 10, 1978 there ) was an Italian actor and screenwriter .

Life

Fausto Tozzi trained as an accountant in Rome and initially worked in administration. Screenwriter Sergio Amidei hired him as a stenographer , through which he found contacts with film.

After the end of the Second World War , Tozzi worked for four years as a screenwriter and assistant director . In 1950 he began his acting career and then appeared in numerous films, including Benito Juárez in the Karl May film The Aztecs Treasure . In 1958 he wrote the screenplay for the boxer film Welker Lorbeer .
