Mohammed Fazazi ( Arabic محمد بن محمد الفزازي Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Fazazi ; French transcription: Mohamed Fizazi ; * 1949 in Marnissa near Taza , Morocco ) is a Muslim cleric and convicted terrorist of Moroccan origin whoacted as a hate preacher at the Hamburg al-Quds mosque in connection with September 11, 2001 .

Fazazi was arrested in Spain in 2003 as a member of the group that carried out the attacks in Casablanca and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Investigations against him have never been initiated in Germany.

In the late 1990s, Fazazi preached as a Salafist imam in Hamburg's Al-Quds Mosque, where he also gave “lessons” in the Islamic way of life. These "lessons" were videotaped and marketed. Three of the four suicide pilots in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States were regular listeners to his sermons and were in close contact with him.

The film Hamburger Lessons by Romuald Karmakar presents these calls to hatred, analogous to Karmakar's “ Himmler Project ”, without comment by reciting two of his speeches from 2000 (January) by Manfred Zapatka . According to Karmakar, Fazazi clearly states in his 'Lessons' that every so-called infidel who votes to support a government that oppresses Muslim countries. And that is why he is a 'warrior' per se who has to be killed.

Excerpt from a sermon: “ The unbelievers brought us poverty and forced us to emigrate to Europe. And here they give us nothing but crumbs and alms. We do the work that the Germans don't want to do, wash dishes, clean toilets. [...] we work for them like slaves. [...] You have the task of removing the rule of the unbelievers, killing their children, capturing their wives and destroying their houses. Be like a stranger in this world. Don't be a prisoner of your money. Jihad is the only solution to change this world. [...] Democracy is the religion of the unbelievers and is imposed on the whole world. The people choose a party of self-appointed idols. When European parliaments incite hostility against Muslims, the population shares responsibility, because they participate through elections, taxes and the press. The press is the fourth power in the state. That is why these unbelievers are warriors. And since they are warriors, their fortunes, their honor, their souls and everything they own are accessible to the Muslims. "
