The Fearn Hill is a 716 m high, kegelförmtiger and somewhat secluded hill in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 2 km northwest of Mount Ward in the North Masson Range of the Framnes Mountains . A glaciated saddle , which contains Lake Lorna , separates it from the rest of the massif .
A team of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions led by the Australian polar explorer John Béchervaise (1910-1998) discovered and climbed it in January 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Béchervaise's wife Lorna Fearn, after whom Lake Lorna is also named.
