Lake Lorna (also known as Lorna Lake ) is a small meltwater lake in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land , about 15 kilometers inland from Holme Bay . In the North Masson Range of the Framnes Mountains, it lies in the middle of a glaciated mountain saddle between Mount Ward and Fearn Hill .
A team of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions led by the Australian polar explorer John Béchervaise (1910-1998) discovered it in January 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Béchervaise's wife Lorna Fearn, after whom Fearn Hill is also named.
