Jonnie Fedel

Jonnie Fedel (born November 22, 1966 in Malmö ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Fedel came from the youth of Malmö FF . In 1986 he became a substitute goalkeeper for Jan Möller with the club of Swedish champions and cup winners. In 1988 he became a regular goalkeeper at the club and played 582 games for the club until 2001. He then switched to Höllvikens GIF , before Jonas Thern , with whom he had played at MFF in the 1980s, brought him to Halmstads BK . After Mattias Asper moved to Viking FK , he returned to Malmö FF in 2006 as a substitute for Håkan Svensson for one season. After the end of the season, he ended his active career.

Fedel also played twice for the Swedish national team .

After the end of his career, Fedel became a goalkeeping coach and has since supported various head coaches.
