Federico Platero , full name Federico Platero Gozzaneo (born February 7, 1991 in Treinta y Tres ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.86 meter tall defensive player Platero played in 2006 in the Cuarta División (U-17) of the Liga de Fútbol de Treinta y Tres for Yerbalense . He joined the Uruguayan club Defensor Sporting from Treinta y Tres in 2009 . Even before he even made his debut in the Primera División, his club received an offer for the player from an unspecified Italian second division team in January 2011. Platero was at least in the 2011 Clausura and 2011 Apertura in the first division squad of Defensor Sporting . He played three games in each of these two half-series in the Primera División . He was then loaned to league rivals Juventud for one season in July 2012 . There he was used in 18 or 19 games, depending on the sources, and scored one goal. For the 2013/14 season, Platero, represented by player agent Julio Ambrois , moved to Switzerland for FC Wil . There he played 31 games in the Challenge League in his debut season and scored two goals. In the 2014/15 season he played 13 times (no goal) in the league and twice (no goal) in the Swiss Cup. At the beginning of 2015 he joined the Croatian club NK Osijek . For this he completed two league games (no goal). In July 2015 he returned to Uruguay and continued his career at Juventud. In the 2015/16 season he was used there in 19 first division games (no goal) and three games (no goal) of the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In mid-August 2016 he switched to Mushuc Runa . For the Ecuadorians he played in nine league games (no goal). In mid-January 2017, the Uruguayan first division club Liverpool Montevideo signed him . So far (as of February 25, 2017) he has completed three top division games (no goal) for the Montevideo club in the current 2017 season.

National team

Platero was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the 2011 U-20 South American Championship . During the tournament, he played nine games. He also took part in the U-20 World Cup that year. He was not deployed there.
