Fedor Weinschenck
Fedor Wilhelm Weinschenck (born January 4, 1916 in Bielitz , † June 22, 1942 ) was a Polish ski racer . Weinschenck was one of the best skiers in his country in the 1930s. He started for the Bielitz-Biala winter sports club, an association of the German minority.
In his career he was three times Polish champion. In 1934 and 1935 he won the downhill title and the combined title in 1935. There are also two runner-up championships in the 1934 combination and 1935 slalom.
In 1936 Weinschenck took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In the combined ranking he came in 32nd place.
Weinschenck fell as a soldier in the German Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front.
