The fairy fan clarkie ( Clarkia breweri ) is a species of the genus Clarkia in the evening primrose family (Onagraceae). Some subspecies have been described.

The fairy fan Clarkie is an annual , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 8 to 20 centimeters. The leaves are linear to lanceolate. The petals are about as long as they are wide. The side lobes of the petal plate are wider than the lobe in the middle. The flower tube is 2 to 3.5 inches long. The fruits are 1.5 to 4 inches long.

The flowering period extends from July to August.

Occurrence

The fairy fan clarkie occurs in California in forest clearings and dry slopes at altitudes of less than 1000 meters.
