Enemy Intelligence Department
The enemy intelligence department was part of higher staffs from division level in the Prussian - German army and the Wehrmacht . The leader of the enemy intelligence department was the Third General Staff Officer (Ic). The enemy intelligence department was divided into five groups with different tasks:
- Group I: Enemy
- Group II: Operational command of subordinate units of the defense
- Group III: letter censorship
- Group IV: Secret Field Police
- Group V: Propaganda
