Felice Pomeranz

Felice Pomeranz (born July 5, 1957 in Encino , California ) is an American harpist and university teacher.

Musical career

Pomeranz studied at the New England Conservatory of Music (NEC), where she completed her harp studies with the title BM and her subsequent jazz studies as the first female harpist with the MM title. She studied with Margaret Ling , Marjorie Call and Bernard Zighera and was a Fellow of Tanglewood Music Center .

Pomeranz tours both solo and together with other jazz artists through several continents.

Pomeranz is a board member of the Boston Association of the American Harp Society . In 1982 she founded the network "The Gilded Harps" in New England . She is an associate professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston and teaches in the harp department of the Boston Conservatory . Pomeranz is the author of various albums and recordings for harp lessons.
