Felicia Dunaf
Felicia Dunaf (* 1996 ) is a Moldovan singer . She is internationally known for her multiple attempts to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest .
Life
She has been singing since she was four. She studies at the Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice in Chișinău . Since she was 16, Dunaf has tried to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest . Therefore, in 2012 she took part in the O Melodie Pentru Europa for the first time with Love Is Time , but was not nominated for the final by the jury, and an online voting for the remaining candidates also failed. In 2013 she tried again, where she finished fifth in the semifinals with her song code name Felice , but had to admit defeat in the final without points. The following year, her third attempt was followed with the song The Way I Do . She survived the semifinals again, this time as fourth and ended up in the final, however, only on a triple place 9. In 2015, she took a break and did not take part in the Moldovan preliminary decision. In 2016, she registered another contribution with You and Me . She qualified as the eighth of twelve semi-finalists for the final of the preliminary decision, where she was last with zero points. She dares the next attempt in 2018, where she competes with Alien .
She caused a sensation, or was aroused, when Anna Book was disqualified with her song Himmel for två at the Melodifestivalen 2016 because it apparently represents a cover version of Dunaf's Taking Care of a Broken Heart , published in 2014 , with which she also tried at the Eurovision Song Contest Participated in 2014, but did not survive the casting. Felicia Dunaf was shocked by the disqualification of Books.
