Felicity Galvez (born March 4, 1985 in Melbourne ) is an Australian swimmer who currently lives in the suburbs of Canberra .

Career

She swims for the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Center Swim Club , where she is assisted by her trainer, John Fowlie . Your focus is on the 50 m and 100 m butterfly courses. Galvez also set a new world record in the short course world championship in 2008 over the 50 m. In these competitions, she was able to put herself in the limelight in general, as she returned home as a two-time world champion and two-time runner-up.

At the Australian Olympiatrials for the 2008 Summer Olympics , she lost out to Jessica Schipper and Lisbeth Trickett on her parade route, the 100 m butterfly . But she was nominated as part of the 4 × 100 m and 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. Galvez took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and was sixth over the 200 m butterfly distance.
