Feliksas Bartkus (born August 28, 1894 in Griškabūdis , Suwałki Governorate , Congress Poland , today Lithuania ; † March 6, 1973 in Dallas , Texas , USA ) was a Lithuanian prelate , rector of the Vilkaviškis seminary and theologian.

Life

From 1911 studied at Seinai seminary and then from 1916 at the St. Petersburg Roman Catholic Theological Academy , where he was ordained. From 1918 studied in Rome , where he received his doctorate in theology in 1921. From 1922 he was a professor at the seminaries in Seinai and from 1926 in Vilkaviškis . From 1938 to 1944 he was Regens at the seminary in Vilkaviškis. From 1950 he lived in the USA.
